Pilgrimage to Kata-tjuta and Uluru (NT)

When: 20-26 June Starting and Finishing point: Alice Springs Cost: $700

Experience the wonder of the highlights of the NT. Through the slow rhythm of daily walks (including the Giles track at Kings Canyon for 2 days), we will engage the spirituality of these sacred places. At Uluru we will be hosted by local indigenous peoples.

Journey to the Aboriginal Central Australia (NT)

When: 26 June- 3 July Starting and finishing point: Alice Springs

John Cavenagh a traditional owner from this country will be with us on this trip sharing his knowledge and experience of this country. Aboriginal people sometimes say that whitefellas talk about ‘owning land’ and black fellas talk about ‘land owning them’. Spending time with John will help you better understand that. This trip will leave Alice Springs and travel in the country to the east of Alice Springs around a place called Arltunga - a beautiful but not well travelled part of Central Australia. During the week we will also travel to meet some other Aboriginal people who have lived remotely in this country for generations. This is a rare opportunity to see some amazingly beautiful country and at the same time learn from people who call it home.

Western Woodlands (WA) (NT)

When: 2-9 October Starting and finishing point: Perth Cost: $700
Drive out beyond Hyden to the vast arid woodlands south of Coolgardie. Where the only fresh water is the run-off from the huge granite outcrops, and the majestic salmon gum trees tower over the traveller, there is a story and a stillness to be enjoyed.
